Who are you?

"Have u ever realize that certain people do wtever they wana do and some people do wtever they has to do"

You see this all the time but do we ever really think about it? Do we ever sit down and think which we are? I have to say, I am one of the people that do what I have to, I dont get to chose what it is I want to do and not to do. And I think everyone should be the same, I dont believe people should have to power to not do what they should, not do their work that they are being paid to do. Sure they can slide by though, they can do as they chose, but is it right? They dont suffer anything because everyone else picks up their slack because they dont want to fall behind so therefor, no repercusions. Its so tough to deal with, cuz u cant just go up to them and tell them what they are doing wrong to their face, because you will feel like a bad person and still wanna be friends. But at the same time you cant let this act of unjustice keep going. Owell..

"Another way of looking at "the person who does what they have to (A)" versus "the person who does what they want to (B)" is that person A might hate doing what they have to. Person B might love doing what they want. Which is worse?"

Well of course person B is gonna love doing what they want..thats why they do it. No one said that person A has to like what they have to do but if they have to do it, they have to do it, so person B is therefor worse because they are not doing what they should, they are just doing what makes them happy.

What if someone liked to do what they have to do... if it was something they found joy in through knowing it fulfills their purpose- or hated being able to do whatever they wanted because it lacked responsibility and purpose?

Like 'Marcus' said, it's a pretty broad range you speak of. I see where you're coming from- it can be frustrating when you aren't finding joy in the 'have to's' and it seems like everyone else is happier than you... but maybe you can just pray that God gives you the joy and peace that comes from being content with where He has you. Because you can't MAKE others change, but you can change yourself and your attitude which could influence them to do the same =)

I never said that one was better or worse than the other. But what i meant was that a person who does what they want instead of what they should be isnt the person i want to be working with, i dont want someone who will just stand around and not help others working with me. I want someone who knows what they should be doing and will DO it, If they like it or not. I feel that it is our paying job to do thus so we have to and well if u dont like it then ok, u dont have to but you can always quit.

Everyone can be label one way or another, you are not too deep. I am white. Rj is black...see, label. I am a christian. someone out there isnt...see, label. anyone can be.

I think what he is trying to say is he's tired of helping out and picking up when someone is slacking. When you sign up for a job do it, don't except to get credit for it and then have someone else do your work. Easy if you don't want to do the job, don't, but don't except your co-workers to do it for you.

For the most part yes. I dont care about the credit of who did what but i just dont want people getting paid for what they didnt do cuz they do what i want

Or you could just want more self recognition because you think you deserve it more.

maybe I do, but its not the point

Psalms 43:18-19

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
